Cast Announcement: "I" Is For Invisible

We’re thrilled to introduce the cast for DeLanna Studi’s play “I” is for Invisible! The play will be presented in a public reading on April 17 at 7pm.

Jan Lucas (Millicent Not Afraid)

Jan Lucas is thrilled to be working again with both DeLanna Studi as well as Brian Balcom, who just directed her in the Phoenix’s production of Wasabia. She has been seen in several shows over the years at IRT, The Phoenix and Summit Performance. She is the author of the memoir My Beautiful Leukemia. Jan also leads musical tours to Ireland through Inishfree Music Tours; check it out!

Andrew AJ Roa (John Not Afraid)

Andrew AJ Roa is an award winning actor.

Kason Hoyt (Brett Not Afraid)

Kason Hoyt (Cherokee Nation) is an accomplished musician making his theatrical debut. Since 2023, he has traveled to California to work as a Production Assistant for Native Voices. What began as a Production Assistant quickly grew into a deeper behind-the-scenes role. Kason now assists with set construction and special effects and occasionally makes brief onstage appearances.

Burgandi Trejo Phoenix (Jessica)

Burgandi Trejo Phoenix is a Chicana storyteller from Tucson, AZ, based in LA, with Yaqui (Yoeme) roots whose work spans voiceover, film, television & theater. She has voiced characters in Emmy-nominated series like The Loud House & Spirit Rangers & stars in The Royals of Malibu podcast. Recent credits include NCIS (CBS), Fancy Dancer (Seattle Rep) & Fake It Until You Make It (Arena Stage).

Jennifer Bobiwash (Wally)

Jennifer Bobiwash, an Ojibway actor, playwright, and director from the Mississauga First Nation. Selected regional credits include Fake It Until You Make It at Arena Stage, Between Two Knees at McCarter Theatre & Seattle Rep and Manahatta at Yale Rep. She is the Artistic Associate at Native Voices, dedicated to championing Native American stories. Her work strives to spark conversation and action.

Kholan Studi (Chester North)

Kholan Studi (Cherokee nation) is a theatre/TV actor, budding writer/director and OBIE Award recipient whose work include most recently Actor Four in The Other Children in The Sun by Rhianna Yazzie at The Kennedy Center, and Haunted by Tara Moses with Native Voices at Greenway Theatre in LA. Kholan is excited and honored to be here in Indianapolis for the first time.

Zack Yazzie (Stage Directions)

Zack is an actor and second year student attending Indiana University. He is studying Cybersecurity & Global Policy with a minor in Theatre & Drama. His past acting experience includes notable roles and shows such as Sodapop Curtis in The Outsiders play and The Ghost of Pablo Escobar in Our Dear Dead Drug Lord. Zack would like to thank everyone with The New Harmony Project for this opportunity!
