application process
Thank you for your interest in submitting to The New Harmony Project. We are no longer accepting submissions for the 2012 conference. Please check back here in March of 2012 for the announcement of participants
submission guidelines
Please make sure to carefully follow these guidelines in order to make the submission process as smooth as possible.
1.Combine the following items, in this order, into a single PDF or Word Document:
-Resume
-Proposal & History of Script (Please tell us a little about your script, where it has come from,
and how you believe The New Harmony Project can benefit the growth of your piece)
-Statement of Artistic Purpose (This serves as a chance for us to get to know you a little
better. Feel free to include any information that you think might help us get to know you as
a person and artist.)
-Ten Page Dialogue Sample
-Full Script*
2.If you are submitting a musical, please submit a FIVE MINUTE music sample. This should fit into one or two separate music files (.mp3, .wav, .aiff)
3. Name the file using the following format: “FirstName LastName- Title of submission.”
For example, John Doe- Mountains.pdf or Jane Doe- Fire and Ice.doc. DO NOT USE ANY
SPECIAL CHARACTERS IN THE FILE NAME (APOSTROPHES, COMMAS, ETC...)
4.Visit the script submission website HERE and fill out the required information. Make sure to double check your email and phone #.
5.Submit your information and upload your file. If your application has been processed, you will get instant confirmation, and receive an email letting you know that it has been received. If, for some reason, you do not receive instant confirmation and an email, please contact The Webmaster as soon as possible.

*We understand that sometimes it is impossible to maintain the integrity of the document by combining it into a single document. In the event that you are unable to combine the requested materials, the full script may be submitted separately from the other material. In this situation, please name your full script document, “FirstName LastName- Title of Submission Script.” i.e. John Doe- Mountains Script.pdf.
selection process
The script selection committee will review all submissions and announce the writers by March of 2011.
