Judy Steenberg, Board Chair
Judy Steenberg has taken an active role on the boards of directors of many local organizations. Her diverse service to the community has included: the University of Evansville Theatre Society, the Evansville Museum of Arts, History, and Science, the University of Southern Indiana Foundation, and the Board of Governors of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. As a long-time, active supporter of the Department of Theatre at the University of Evansville, she chaired a successful multi-million dollar capital campaign to fund the renovation and expansion of the school’s theatre complex. Later, she created a fund to endow the Theatre Society’s Assistantship program providing annual support for students within the department. As a travel consultant, Judy oversees the National Unified Auditions tour every February when twenty universities travel coast to coast to audition prospective theatre students. Judy holds a BS degree from Cornell University and is currently a general partner of Esperance, LLC. Her support of the New Harmony Project dates back to 1988. She has served eleven years as a Board Member, Committee Chair, and Officer.
